The Boxy Saga

The backstory: One year ago a friend who shall in this blog remain unnamed stole from my roommates and I a pirate flag, which we waved proudly outside of our house. Tactically, he had it sent with another mutual friend on a month-long charity trip to Peru, where it was photographed on the top of Machu Picchu with members of the popular 90's alternative rock band Fastball.
A year later, before a trip to NYC, we finally had our opportunity for revenge. It may not seem like much to steal a small toy, but let's just say this was a very treasured box.

Tweed Run

A small group of friends put together this Denver version of London's January Tweed Run. Below are a few shots from the humble event. This event will occur again, hopefully with a much larger turnout. Special thanks to Pearl Velo.

Colfax Avenue

I just finished this music video for one of my oldest friends Walker Rose. He has done the score for several nixbros films including Lowell Gleason Wears Glasses and Rainbow Chasers. Check out more of his music here.

Rainbow Chasers Deleted Scenes

Rainbow Chasers is a collaborative project that I worked on last fall and winter, along with the fine Honest Brothers and local videographer Ben Jones. It follows 3 daring men who fight passionately for their cause despite its being frequently ridiculed and not taken seriously. The mockumentary also features the talents of Denver comics Nathan Lund, Chris Charpentier and Andrew Smyczek. Shot mostly using improvisation, the short episodes left out a lot of great moments. Enjoy a few of them (below), and stop by rainbowchasers.net for a few minutes to watch all 9 episodes.
